SO GOOOOOD!!! The salmon I ordered was one of the best I have ever had. Everyone else eats meat, and I have never heard so many compliments around the table about the Bone Marrow and Birria. I believe we had a server in training, and she was FABULOUS!!! Thank you for a great evening!

OMG - GO RIGHT NOW!!! This is BY LEAPS, BY BOUNDS, BY MIND-BLOWING proportions the best, higher-end Mexican I've ever had in the US. Alejandro's hasn't been around forever, but I lament that it's been here for awhile and I have just now discovered it. The food is INCREDIBLE. You'll find dishes here unlike anywhere else; the quality, the creativity, and the flavors are all OUTSTANDING. The space is sexy, sophisticated, calm, and beautiful. The cocktails are also standouts in their own right. Alejandro's is NOT inexpensive, so don't go planning for your neighborhood taqueria prices. This is a special night out with friends / family /etc. - and so well-deserving of it. I went with friends and, universally, all of our minds were blown by how delicious this place is. The service, too, is fantastic. I have thousands of restaurant reviews on Google and you will see I rarely rave like this. I cannot wait to go back!!!!

We popped in to satisfy our sweet tooth with some takeout. The hostess promptly got someone to take my order. It looked quite busy on a Saturday night. Plenty of people were sitting inside and the outside was full. We ordered the churros and sponge cake. The churros was light and fluffy, very delicious! The sponge cake was not what I expected, in a bad way. It wasn't terrible, but it was not soft and sponge but more like 3 round biscuits with a white coconut sauce on top. Not my cup of tea, but looking forward to trying more of their food in the future. Will be back! Update: Returned for a birthday dinner. Had the veal shank and pescado (oven fried fish) both good but the fish was really good. We also really enjoyed the cocktails, spiked horchata and guava margarita, perfect blend of sweet and sour. Kids got the chicken quesadilla, very cheesy. Overall great night, service was lacking a bit even on a slow Monday.

We had a perfect dinner at alejandro’s. The margaritas were so tasty; we got the poblano and the guava. The octopus app was tender and flavorful, and the ceviche was delicious. I would eat their esquites by the pound, if I could. The molcajete was much larger than we anticipated, but luckily, that didn’t stop us from finishing with the pastel de coco. Would absolutely recommend! Such a cute vibe, and Nelson provided wonderful service.

Service was excellent! Was seated outside. An outdoor heater would have helped the experience. The food was good, a little on the sweet side. We ate birria tacos with consume and bone marrow, chicken mole enchiladas, and guacamole w/ chips.

100% recommend! I've been back to this restaurant several times since I first tried it. The food is authentic and so flavorful. It is a little pricey but you get your moneys worth! The staff are very friendly and wonderful. The ambiance is fun and lively.

Price to food ratio was actually surprisingly well. Food was amazing and selection of drinks are vast. First meal on my trip to Monterey and they set a great mood for the rest of the trip’s entirety. Cute little cave sitting booths too were fun.
